Since 2012 they’ve built a network of amazing farmers, food producers and customers who care about their food's provenance and impact.

They now produce over 100 minimally processed wholefoods – all from diverse crops, grown in ways that are better for soil, climate and communities.

Essential Trading is a leading distributor of ethical and sustainable wholefoods, they have a unique range that includes nearly 5000 largely organic products from principal brands, plus their own range of ethical store cupboard staples, some exclusively manufactured in-house. Essential has become one of the largest worker co-operatives in the UK and a true pioneer in the manufacturing and distribution of vegetarian, vegan, organic, sustainable and free-from produce. They're passionate about wholesome healthy food, environmental responsibility and their egalitarian co-operative structure.

Organic Fruit & Vegetable Wholesaler, Langridge Organic Products has its roots in the mid-80s at Langridge Farm amidst the rolling hills in the heart of Devon, providing a perfect environment to produce organic food.

Langridge started wholesaling organic vegetables in the early 80s to sell its own local organic vegetables and became a stand-alone organic wholesale business when it was realised that organic farming had really come of age.

In 1946, the Soil Association started out on a single farm, now they influence the government on UK food, farming and forestry policy, supporting businesses to grow and serve sustainable food, hoping to inspire everyone to be a force for nature.
